About Village Gas
Built around value. Rooted in community.
Village Gas is a locally operated fuel and convenience business built around a simple idea: provide dependable neighborhood service, strong everyday value and a welcoming experience for the communities we serve.
From competitive fuel pricing to convenient local stores, Village Gas aims to make every stop straightforward, dependable and community-focused.
Scituate Community
Village Gas North Scituate has received local recognition for competitive fuel pricing, full-service fueling and friendly service from local staff. A local public community post specifically highlighted Village Gas as offering some of the lowest-priced fuel the author had encountered locally and praised the young local attendants for being friendly and hardworking.
Rotary Club of Scituate
Village Gas founder Zeshan Abid was recognized with Paul Harris recognition for his service to the Scituate community, including support for local residents, employment opportunities and community-focused business practices.
Friendly, reliable service and convenient locations remain central to the Village Gas experience.
Growing Responsibly
We believe a neighborhood business should contribute to the community around it — not simply operate within it.
Dependable Local Service
Community Service

Value at the Pump
Village Gas is known locally for competitive fuel pricing and helping customers get strong everyday value.
Our Story
Village Gas began in 2018 with its North Scituate location at 141 Danielson Pike. From the beginning, the goal was not simply to operate another gas station, but to become a dependable part of the local community.
That approach — competitive fuel pricing, friendly service and attention to the people who live and work around our locations — has continued as Village Gas has grown.
From North Scituate, the Village Gas network expanded to additional Rhode Island communities, including East Greenwich, Foster, Smithfield and Harrisville/Burrillville, with additional locations currently in development.
Our Mission
Our mission is to deliver dependable fuel, convenience and value while remaining genuinely connected to the communities we serve.
Community First
Community has been part of the Village Gas identity from the beginning. We believe local businesses have an opportunity — and a responsibility — to support the people around them.
That philosophy has taken many forms over the years, from creating employment opportunities for local young people to supporting neighbors during difficult periods and working to keep fuel prices accessible when household costs are rising.
For us, community service is not a marketing campaign. It is part of how Village Gas was built.
Everyday Value
Working to provide competitively priced fuel and dependable convenience.
Neighbors Serving Neighbors
Building locations where customers are treated with courtesy, familiarity and respect.
Growing Our Village
What began with one North Scituate station in 2018 has grown into a network of Village Gas locations and related neighborhood businesses across Rhode Island.
